Let's get ready to ruuummmmmmbbbbllllle! Er. Play Twister. We're all definitely here today because we want to play Twister. All that mud? Total coincidence. With no more classes or murder games for at least a week, come on out to the flower field by Coppertale, where dozens of colored dots have been placed. Better start stretching kids, it’s time to twist.

how this works!

⬥ If you want to participate in the Twister tournament, post with your form under Official Rounds. Manx or Alex will roll to see if you made it past each round!

⬥ If you got knocked out early, or want to play against specific people, post under Free Play, where you can scene as much good old fashioned nonsense as your heart desires. These games will not be rolled!

⬥ This is totally not mud wrestling. A little good-natured tussling between friends will probably slip under the radar of the supervising prefects, but anyone caught actually throwing punches or trying to hurt someone will be disciplined and removed from the game.

⬥ We will roll until Monday, March 26, 11:59 PM PST, at which point the lucky, muddiest winner will be crowned! Enjoy your crown, scepter, and cape, your majesty.

TOURNAMENT GAME PLAY

⬥ The game will be run in rounds. Everyone starts on the field together, where dozens of colored dots have been laid out for this task. Austin or Ursula, acting as referee, will be doing the spins and calling out your fate.

⬥ You fall, you die, and you also get muddy. Hope no one's wearing white!!!

⬥ If you put your hand or foot on the wrong spot, either purposefully or accidentally, the game will call you out with a loud noise. No cheating!

⬥ Water is added and untouched dots are charmed to change color between each round, just to keep things challenging!

⬥ Last one standing wins! Which, in the context of this post, means whoever is on the highest round as of Monday, March 26, 11:59 PM PST is the winner! If there are multiple people on the same round, we will roll the winner out of them.

⬦ OFFICIAL ROUNDS: What starts out as a typically challenging game of Twister starts to get a little harder as the rounds go on. Did the color of those dots change? Is the field getting muddier? It’s going to be mighty hard to prove you’re the Twistiest Gooseberrian in Town. Make sure you post here to see how your bendiness stacked up to everyone else’s bendiness.

⬦ FREE PLAY: While the day starts with a big tournament for the serious Twisters in the school, the field narrows quickly, and there’s plenty of dots for everyone to show off how fun and flexible they are. Challenge a friend, a rival, a random! These games won’t be rolled by Manx or Alex, but it’s a good place to scene out some good ol’ fashioned Twister trouble.

⬦ SIDELINES: Watch, mock, gape, stay clean on the sidelines. A table of refreshments has been set up featuring cookies, drinks, and other mud-themed desserts.
